BTS’s “Boy With Luv” Becomes Fastest Korean Boy Group MV To Surpass 1.3 Billion Views

BTS’s “Boy With Luv” continues to gather views at record speed!

On July 18 at approximately 4:18 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) hit 1.3 billion views on YouTube, making it their second music video to do so after “DNA.”

The “Boy With Luv” music video was released on April 12, 2019 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the video two years, three months, five days, 22 hours, and 18 minutes to reach the milestone.

“Boy With Luv” is now the fastest Korean boy group music video ever to surpass 1.3 billion views on YouTube, breaking the previous record of three years, nine months, 14 days, five hours, and 55 minutes set by “DNA.” The only other Korean music videos with over 1.3 billion views on YouTube are BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman.”
