Hyoyeon has made a solo comeback!

On August 9 at 6 p.m. KST, the Girls’ Generation member released her new single “Second” as HYO.

“Second” is a summer dance pop song with diverse sounds including 808 bass, electric piano, horn, and cowbells. The lyrics express that it’s okay to take a second to relax through busy everyday life. BIBI participated in writing the lyrics and also featured in the song.

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon is bringing us new music as DJ HYO!

On July 19, a source from SM Entertainment revealed, “Hyoyeon (DJ HYO) is releasing a new single in August.”

This will be Hyoyeon’s first new song in approximately nine months since “Think About Me,” which was released through SM STATION.

Hyoyeon debuted as the main dancer of Girls’ Generation in 2007. In 2018, she began her solo career as a DJ under the stage name DJ HYO and released songs like “Sober,” “Punk Right Now,” “Badster,” and “Dessert.”
