Watch: Kim Sung Kyun's Dream House Turns Into Hell As Cha Seung Won, Lee Kwang Soo, And More Fight To Escape The "Sinkhole"
The upcoming disaster movie “Sinkhole” has released a second trailer!
“Sinkhole” is a comedy disaster film starring Kim Sung Kyun as Park Dong Won, a man who has waited 11 years to buy his own house only to have it disappear down a sinkhole in less than a minute. Cha Seung Won co-stars as Jung Man Soo, Park Dong Man’s neighbor and a single father who works three jobs to make ends meet. Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Hye Joon co-star as Park Dong Won’s colleagues, who end up trapped in the sinkhole while attending their boss’s housewarming party.
The teaser begins with Park Dong Won enjoying his happy home in Seoul that he finally achieved after 11 years. He receives congratulations from Deputy Kim (Lee Kwang Soo) and Intern Eun Joo (Kim Hye Joon) and goes out for a celebratory dinner near his new home with his family. Back at home, however, the first sign of trouble appears when his son, Soo Chan, rolls a marble across the floor, showing that the entire apartment is leaning to one side.
Park Dong Won ignores the signs and invites his colleagues to his new home for a housewarming party. His neighbor, Jung Man Soo, is skilled at inserting himself into situations without being invited, but in this case it means that he gets trapped in the sudden 500-meter-deep (about 1640 feet) sinkhole along with the others. As the building crumbles around them, the elevators and water pipes don’t work, and time is rapidly running out, Park Dong Won and his colleagues and neighbors have to band together to save each other and survive.
Check out the new trailer below!
“Sinkhole” is scheduled to premiere on August 11 in South Korea.
