Yang Hye Ji’s agency has responded to rumors of her dating professional gamer Deft.

Rumors about Yang Hye Ji and Deft being in a relationship recently circulated on online communities due to similar outfits and photos on social media.

In response to the rumors, Yang Hye Ji’s agency Awesome ENT clarified, “Yang Hye Ji and Deft went to middle school together. They are close friends and play games together sometimes, and he is a gamer that [Yang Hye Ji] supports. They are not dating.”

Deft is a professional League of Legends player who currently plays for Hanwha Life Esports. Yang Hye Ji is a rising actress who has starred in dramas including “FAILing in Love,” “I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice,” and “Live On,” and she is currently starring in “Nevertheless.”
