BTS To Perform On BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" & Star In TV Documentary Including Cover Of Puff Daddy & Faith Evans
BTS will be making their first-ever appearance on BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge”!
On July 22 local time, BBC Radio 1 officially announced that BTS would be making their “Radio 1 Live Lounge debut” next week. The group will be appearing on the famous U.K. radio segment on July 27 at 12 p.m. BST.
In keeping with “Live Lounge” tradition, which usually features artists performing a cover in addition to their own music, BTS will not only be performing “Permission to Dance” and “Dynamite,” but also a cover of Puff Daddy and Faith Evans’s 1997 hit “I’ll Be Missing You.”
Following BTS’s appearance on “Live Lounge,” the group will also be starring in their first BBC One TV special the very next day. Entitled “BTS @ Radio 1” and hosted by Adele Roberts, the 30-minute documentary will “explore the sensational rise to fame of 21st century pop icons BTS.” The special will also include Adele Roberts’s exclusive interview with BTS ahead of their “Live Lounge” debut.
“BTS @ Radio 1” will air on July 28 at 10:35 p.m. BST.
