"Hospital Playlist 2" Heads Into 1-Week Hiatus On Its Highest Ratings Yet
tvN’s “Hospital Playlist 2” is heading into the second half of its run on a perfect streak of rising ratings!
Ever since its premiere, the hit drama has seen its viewership ratings rise with each new episode—and last night was no exception. According to Nielsen Korea, the July 22 episode of “Hospital Playlist 2” scored an average nationwide rating of 13.2 percent, marking a new all-time high for the series.
“Hospital Playlist 2” also remained first place in its time slot both among all viewers and among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 8.7 percent and a peak of 10.1 percent.
Despite facing stiff competition from “Hospital Playlist 2,” which aired in the same time slot, MBC’s “On the Verge of Insanity” managed to maintain its average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent from the night before.
JTBC’s “Monthly Magazine Home,” which aired at the same time as both dramas, dipped slightly to an average nationwide rating of 1.9 percent.
“Hospital Playlist 2” will be taking a one-week hiatus next week, with a special episode airing during the drama’s usual time slot on July 29. The series will resume airing as usual on August 5.
