Watch: BTS Makes 1st-Ever Appearance On BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' + Covers Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, And Sting

BTS took over BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge” with some exciting performances!

On July 27 local time, BTS made their highly-anticipated “Radio 1 Live Lounge” debut, appearing for the very first time on the famous U.K. radio segment.

With the help of a live band, the group performed dynamic renditions of both their 2020 smash hit “Dynamite” and their latest single “Permission to Dance.”

In keeping with “Live Lounge” tradition, which usually features artists performing a cover in addition to their own music, BTS wrapped up their appearance with a soulful cover of Puff Daddy and Faith Evans’s 1997 hit “I’ll Be Missing You,” which samples The Police’s iconic track “Every Breath You Take” (written and sung by Sting).

BTS will also be starring in their first-ever BBC One TV special “BTS @ Radio 1,” a documentary exploring their rise to fame, on July 28 at 10:35 p.m. BST.

Check out the clips of all three of BTS’s “Live Lounge” performances below!
