TXT Becomes 1st K-Pop Act To Spend 7 Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2021 Album + Re-Enters Pop Airplay Chart With "Magic"

Nearly two months after its release, TXT’s latest album is still going strong on the Billboard charts!

TXT’s second studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,” which was originally released on May 31, has now become the first K-pop album of 2021 to spend seven weeks on the Billboard 200 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States). After initially debuting at No. 5, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” charted at No. 181 for the week ending on July 31, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year.

“The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also stayed strong on several other Billboard charts this week, ranking No. 5 on the World Albums chart, No. 14 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 19 on the Top Album Sales chart.

Meanwhile, TXT’s viral B-side “Anti-Romantic” claimed No. 22 on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, marking its seventh week on the chart—and tying with BTS’s “Film Out” and TXT’s own title track “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” for the longest-charting song of 2021 by a Korean act.

Additionally, TXT’s “Magic” re-entered Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart (which measures total weekly plays on mainstream radio stations across the United States) this week, reaching a new peak of No. 36. Earlier this month, TXT became the fastest K-pop artist in history to make their debut on the chart.
