Ahn Bo Hyun In Talks For Lead Role In New tvN Drama
Actor Ahn Bo Hyun is in talks for a new tvN drama!
On July 29, a source from the drama industry reported that Ahn Bo Hyun had been cast as the lead role in the upcoming military action drama “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (literal translation).
“Military Prosecutor Doberman” is about a man named Do Bae Man, a military prosecutor who chose the job for money. After meeting Cha Woo In, a military prosecutor who chose the job for revenge, Do Bae Man roots out evil in the military and becomes a true prosecutor.
Ahn Bo Hyun has reportedly been cast as Do Bae Man, who isn’t really interested in his job and only looks forward to the days when he can take off his military uniform. As of now, Ahn Bo Hyun has played mostly supporting roles in his filmography, but he is slated to appear in leading roles opposite Kim Go Eun and Han So Hee in their upcoming dramas.
Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency, FN Entertainment, stated, “He has received a casting offer for ‘Military Prosecutor Doberman’ and is positively reviewing it. Nothing has been decided yet regarding his appearance in the drama.” tvN also stated, “We are currently reviewing the broadcasting details and undergoing casting for ‘Military Prosecutor Doberman.’ As part of this, we are in talks with Ahn Bo Hyun about his casting offer.”
“Military Prosecutor Doberman” is written by Yoon Hyun Ho (“Remember,” “Lawless Lawyer“). It is expected to air sometime in the first half of 2022.
