CIX's Bae Jin Young To Make Acting Debut As Lead Of New Drama

CIX’s Bae Jin Young is venturing into acting for the very first time!

On July 30, C9 Entertainment officially announced that Bae Jin Young would be making his debut as an actor in the upcoming drama “@Account Has Been Deleted” (literal translation).

The agency stated, “Bae Jin Young has been cast as the male lead in WHYNOT’s original drama ‘@Account Has Been Deleted,’ which is scheduled to premiere in November, and he will be taking on acting for the first time.”

“@Account Has Been Deleted” is a romance drama about two female high school students who happen to share the same name. When they both transfer to a new school at the same time, hoping to use the opportunity to turn their lives around, they forge a secret contract to swap identities. 

Bae Jin Young will be starring in the drama as Shin Yi Joon, the most popular student at his high school. Although he seems tough and aloof on the outside, Shin Yi Joon is actually a huge softie on the inside—and far from getting into fights with other students, he even has a hard time saying no to other people.

“@Account Has Been Deleted” is currently slated to be released online in November.
