Girl's Day's Minah Goes On A Trip With Her Ex Kwon Hwa Woon & New Love Interest An Woo Yeon In "Check Out The Event"
MBC’s upcoming drama “Check Out the Event” has unveiled a new poster!
“Check Out the Event” is an upcoming romance drama about two ex-lovers who win a couples trip in a lottery that they entered before breaking up. In order to go on the trip, they pretend to still be together as they travel to Jeju Island with several other couples.
Girl’s Day’s Minah will star in the drama as Ha Song Yi, a coordinator at a botanical garden who goes through a rough patch after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend, while Kwon Hwa Woon will star as her ex Park Do Kyum, the secretly soft-hearted leader and vocalist of an indie band.
An Woo Yeon will play their tour guide Seo Ji Kang, who winds up developing feelings for Ha Song Yi over the course of the trip.
In the newly released poster, the awkward trio smiles brightly for the camera as they pose together against the gorgeous backdrop of Jeju Island. Ha Song Yi sits between her ex-boyfriend Park Do Kyum and her new love interest Seo Ki Jang, piquing viewers’ curiosity as to how this unusual love triangle will play out.
“Check Out the Event” will premiere on August 14 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki. In the meantime, check out a teaser for the drama here!
