MONSTA X's Hyungwon Enters Self-Quarantine + His Drama Halts Filming After COVID-19 Case Discovered On Set
MONSTA X’s Hyungwon’s upcoming drama “Fly Again” (literal translation) has temporarily halted filming after someone involved with the production tested positive for COVID-19.
On August 1, Hyungwon’s agency announced that while filming the drama, he had come into close contact with the individual who has since been diagnosed with COVID-19.
While Hyungwon himself tested negative for the virus, he has entered self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
A representative of King Kong by Starship stated, “Hyungwon’s COVID-19 test results have come back negative. However, as he has been classified as a close contact [of the COVID-19 patient], he is currently in self-quarantine.”
Hyungwon’s “Fly Again” co-star Lee Seung Heon, who also came into close contact with the confirmed case of COVID-19, has similarly entered self-quarantine despite testing negative.
“Fly Again” is reportedly in the midst of adjusting its filming schedule following this unexpected development.
