Seol In Ah And Kim Min Kyu Cast In Rom-Com Drama Starring Kim Sejeong And Ahn Hyo Seop
Seol In Ah and Kim Min Kyu will be starring in SBS’s upcoming drama “A Business Proposal” (working title)!
“A Business Proposal” is a romantic comedy about an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend while hiding her identity. The story was first published by author Hae Hwa as a web novel in 2017 and produced into a webtoon in 2018. In August 2020, KakaoPage announced that they would be adapting the web novel and webtoon into a drama.
Kim Sejeong has been confirmed to play the optimistic female lead Shin Ha Ri, while Ahn Hyo Seop will play the male lead Kang Tae Mu, a perfect third generation chaebol.
On August 3, OUI Entertainment revealed that Seol In Ah was confirmed for the role of Jin Young Seo, who is Shin Ha Ri’s best friend and the only daughter of Marine Group’s chairman. While’s she’s a “girl crush” type of character, she is also innocently waiting for love that is meant to be.
Kim Min Kyu’s agency Happy Tribe Entertainment announced that the actor was cast as the handsome and upright chief secretary Cha Sung Hoon. Jin Young Seo, Cha Sung Hoon, and Jin Young Seo’s cousin Jo Yoo Jung will be caught in a love triangle.
Dal Shabet’s Woohee is also confirmed to star in the drama as the food stylist Go Yoo Ra.
Seol In Ah proved her skills as an actress as Jo Hwa Jin in tvN’s “Mr. Queen” earlier this year. She also showed her natural side to the public through appearances on variety shows such as “Law of the Jungle.”
Kim Min Kyu has been building a diverse filmography that includes school, historical, romance, fantasy, and thriller genres. Some of his most recent dramas are “So I Married the Anti-Fan,” “Queen: Love and War,” and “Perfume.”
“A Business Proposal” will go into filming this year and is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.
