Red Velvet's Yeri And PENTAGON's Hongseok Spend Quality Time Together In "Blue Birthday"

Web drama “Blue Birthday” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its upcoming episode!

“Blue Birthday” is a fantasy romance thriller produced by Playlist, the studio behind the hit web dramas “A-TEEN” and “Love Playlist.” Red Velvet’s Yeri stars as Oh Ha Rin, a 28-year-old whose first love died on her 18th birthday 10 years ago. She had finally resolved to confess her feelings to her friend Ji Seo Jun (played by PENTAGON’s Hongseok) that day, but to her shock and horror, he ended up taking his own life.

In one of the newly released photos, Ji Seo Jun affectionately strokes Oh Ha Rin’s head, and in response, Oh Ha Rin smiles shyly. They make sweet eye contact, which hints they have become a couple. In another photo, the two characters are enjoying a normal date at a cafe. Oh Ha Rin wanted nothing more than to spend ordinary days with Ji Seo Jun, so she is beaming with joy in every picture.

However, everything isn’t perfect for Oh Ha Rin because with every gain, there is a loss. Previously on “Blue Birthday,” Ji Seo Jun returned to Oh Ha Rin, but instead, she lost her friend Do Soo Jin (Kim Gyeol Yu). Playlist shared that even though Oh Ha Rin is happy spending quality time with Ji Seo Jun, she won’t be able to help but think about Do Soo Jin. What decision will Oh Ha Rin make next?

The next episode of “Blue Birthday” will air on August 6 at 7 p.m. KST.
