BTS's "Butter" MV Soars Past 500 Million Views At Impressive Speed

BTS’s “Butter” has just hit the half-billion mark on YouTube!

On August 7 at approximately 9:15 a.m. KST, BTS’s music video for their smash hit “Butter” surpassed 500 million views on YouTube, making it the group’s 11th music video to do so after “DNA,” “Fire,” “Fake Love,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “IDOL,” “Dope,” “Boy With Luv,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “Save Me,” and “Dynamite.”

BTS originally released the music video for “Butter” on May 21 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the song just over 77 days and 20 hours to reach the milestone.
