BTS's 'Permission To Dance' Guards No. 1 Spot; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, August Week 1

BTS’s “Permission to Dance” holds on to the top spot for the third consecutive week! The song has also won seven music shows. Congratulations to BTS!

TWICE’s “Alcohol-Free” and Taeyeon’s “Weekend” also maintain their spots at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Only one new song entered the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 4 is AKMU’s “NAKKA,” the title track from the duo’s new collaboration album “NEXT EPISODE.” A collaboration with IU, the song was inspired by the film “The Greatest Showman” and expresses the message of being together until the end no matter what obstacles come in the way.
