"Police University" Kicks Off With Strong Premiere Ratings + "Racket Boys" Concludes On Solid Viewership
KBS 2TV’s “Police University” is off to a promising start!
According to Nielsen Korea, the August 9 premiere of “Police University” recorded average nationwide ratings of 5.2 percent, making it No. 1 of Monday night dramas.
“Police University” is about the chaotic investigation that ensues when a professor at an elite police university teams up with his students, one of whom is a genius former hacker. B1A4’s Jinyoung and f(x)’s Krystal star as the students Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee, while Cha Tae Hyun stars as the passionate detective and professor Yoo Dong Man.
SBS’s “Racket Boys” concluded on a steady note, garnering average nationwide ratings of 4.6 percent for its final episode. This is a slight decrease in ratings from the previous episode‘s record of 5.6 percent, which may have been the result of the drama not airing the previous week due to coverage of the Olympics.
tvN’s “You Are My Spring” earned average nationwide ratings of 1.94 percent, which is the same as last week‘s ratings.
