Lee Kwang Soo Acts Brave In The Face Of Danger In Behind-The-Scenes Stills For "Sinkhole"
“Sinkhole” released a new behind-the-scenes look at Lee Kwang Soo!
“Sinkhole” is a comedy disaster film about a terrifying sinkhole of unprecedented size that opens up in the heart of the city, causing an apartment building to fall 500 meters (about 1640 feet) into the ground. Trapped in the giant sinkhole, the residents of the building—and their guests—must find a way out before the sinkhole fills with water.
Kim Sung Kyun will star as Park Dong Won, an ordinary man who finally buys a house in Seoul after saving up for 11 years—only to have it collapse into a sinkhole as soon as he moves in. Lee Kwang Soo will play Park Dong Won’s pitiful junior colleague Deputy Kim, who will depict the realities of an office worker getting pushed around in every direction. Not only will Deputy Kim captivate viewers with his crafty and witty personality, but he’ll show diverse chemistries with the other characters including Jung Man Soo (Cha Seung Won), Park Dong Won, and Intern Eun Joo (Kim Hye Joon).
Lee Kwang Soo has already impressed viewers with his unique acting in various projects, and he’s received a lot of love for his energetic, refreshing, and heartwarming portrayals in both films and dramas. In the upcoming movie, Lee Kwang Soo will depict the realistic concerns people in their 20s and 30s have about housing and marriage. The actor will also naturally portray Deputy Kim’s transition from having a sensitive and spiteful side that stems from his inferiority complex to gradually becoming more mature inside the sinkhole.
In the behind-the-scenes images from the poster filming, Lee Kwang Soo looks desperate to not let go of something he’s holding on to with an outstretched arm. On top of his disheveled hair, he wears a head lantern as he poses for the camera with a face covered in dust.
“Sinkhole” premiered today on August 11. Watch a teaser for the film here!
