Yuju In Discussion To Join Kang Daniel's KONNECT Entertainment

Former GFRIEND member Yuju could be signing with KONNECT Entertainment.

On August 11, entertainment news outlet Celuv Media reported that Yuju had held meetings with KONNECT Entertainment to discuss a potential exclusive contract and was likely to sign with the agency.

In response to the report, KONNECT Entertainment shared that nothing is confirmed. They explained, “We are planning on expanding our artist lineup, but none of the matters are finalized. Yuju is one of the artists we met during that process.”

KONNECT Entertainment is home to artist Kang Daniel, who is also the agency’s CEO. In July, CL partnered with KONNECT Entertainment for the management of her domestic activities, and the agency also recently recruited producer and singer-songwriter Chancellor.

Following GFRIEND’s disbandment and departure from Source Music, Yerin signed with Sublime Artist Agency in June, and Sowon joined IOK Company as an actress last month.
