Watch: Lee Sang Yi Is Confused By Shin Min Ah And Kim Seon Ho's Relationship In "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha"
tvN has released a new teaser for the upcoming drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”!
A remake of the film “Mr. Hong,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a romance drama starring Shin Min Ah as Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist who moves from Seoul to the seaside village of Gongjin, and Kim Seon Ho as Hong Doo Shik, an odd-job expert who helps everyone around town.
The new trailer teases the strange relationship that develops between Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik. The two bicker back and forth no matter what they’re doing, whether she’s drinking wine or he’s waiting on her table. He expertly handles her when she’s fallen asleep drunk, and she zeroes in on his lips when he comes as a patient at her dentistry clinic. The two of them also share a surprisingly romantic moment doing laundry together.
At this moment enters Lee Sang Yi, who plays Ji Sang Hyun, a variety show PD known for creating warm content about people’s everyday lives. He chooses Gongjin as the setting for his new show and gets unexpectedly entangled in situations with Yoon Hye Jin, Hong Doo Shik, and the people of the village.
Ji Sang Hyun appears to have some connection with Yoon Hye Jin, as he says over a meal with her and Hong Doo Shik, “How long has it been?” She smiles back at him and offers him the last dumpling, but Hong Doo Shik immediately claims it as his. Later, Ji Sang Hyun asks if he can talk to Yoon Hye Jin (alone, it is implied), but Hong Doo Shik fails to get the hint. As Yoon Hye Jin seems to favor Ji Sang Hyun, Hong Doo Shik is left to his own thoughts out in the cold.
