BTS, TXT, BLACKPINK, NCT, And SEVENTEEN Rank High On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 21!
Two months after its release, BTS’s Japanese compilation album “BTS, The Best” reentered the World Albums chart at No. 1 this week—marking its very first time topping the chart.
Overall, BTS landed a total of seven albums in the top 15: in addition to topping the chart with “BTS, The Best,” BTS also claimed No. 2 with “Map of the Soul: 7,” No. 5 with “BE,” No. 8 with “Love Yourself: Answer,” No. 10 with “Map of the Soul: Persona,” No. 13 with “Skool Luv Affair,” and No. 15 with “Love Yourself: Her.”
Meanwhile, TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” stayed strong at No. 6 in its 11th week on the chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021.
BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” came in at No. 7 in its 45th week on the chart, while NCT’s “RESONANCE Pt. 1” rose to No. 11 in its 39th.
Finally, SEVENTEEN’s “Your Choice” held onto its spot at No. 12 in its eighth week on the chart.
