Yerin Confirmed To Make Acting Debut In Upcoming Web Drama

Yerin has been confirmed to make her acting debut!

On August 19, Yerin’s agency Sublime Artist Agency (SAA) announced that Yerin would star in the upcoming web drama “Witch Shop Reopen” (literal title) as Lee Hae Na.

“Witch Shop Reopen” tells the story of Lee Hae Na, a dark witch who owns a witch shop. She comes to meet Ji Ho, a shy and helpless high school student without any dreams and the two come together to save the witch shop that is at risk of closing. The drama depicts the story of growth the characters undergo through emotions of love and friendship.

Yerin’s character, Lee Hae Na, is a unique witch whose hobby is gossiping and talent is putting curses on others. While she has the good looks and magical ability to draw in humans, she has zero talent in running a business. With the help of her friends, she will try to save her shop from closing in an entertaining way.

Commenting on her acting debut, Yerin shared, “I’m so happy and excited that I get to show a new image to my fans. Although I’m really nervous because it’s my first time introducing myself as an actress, I’m working hard to showcase a good image. Please give me lots of support!”

Yerin made her debut in 2015 with GFRIEND and frequently appeared on various variety programs. After the group decided not to renew their contracts with Source Music in May of this year, Yerin signed with Sublime Artist Agency this past June.

“Witch Shop Reopen” plans to premiere this coming December.
