CIX's Yonghee Confirmed To Star Opposite Yerin In New Romance Web Drama

CIX’s Yonghee will be making his acting debut as the lead of a new web drama!

On August 20, CIX’s agency C9 Entertainment confirmed, “Yonghee has been cast in the web drama ‘Witch Shop Reopening’ [literal title], and he will be taking on acting for the very first time since his debut.”

“Witch Shop Reopening” is a fantasy romance that will star former GFRIEND member Yerin as Lee Hae Na, a witch who is determined to save her witch shop from closing. When she crosses paths with an ordinary high school student named Han Ji Ho, she finds help in an unexpected ally.

Yonghee will be starring as male lead Han Ji Ho, a student who can do anything once he sets his mind to it—but who doesn’t make up his mind very often. A lost soul with no sense of purpose or ambition, Han Ji Ho drifts aimlessly through his high school life until he accidentally becomes entangled with Lee Hae Na and winds up falling under a curse.

In order to remove the curse, Han Ji Ho agrees to help Lee Hae Na save her shop. But despite initially finding her personality infuriating, once they spend more time together, he begins to see her in a different light.

“Witch Shop Reopening” will consist of 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere in December.
