BTS's "Dynamite" Becomes Their First Single To Be Certified Platinum In The UK

BTS’s “Dynamite” has achieved a new milestone in the United Kingdom!

On August 20 local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that “Dynamite” had been certified platinum. Singles are certified platinum in the United Kingdom when they reach 600,000 units sold.

“Dynamite,” which was released almost exactly one year ago on August 21, 2020, was BTS’s first double-platinum single in the United States, as well as their first platinum certification for downloads in Japan. With its new certification in the United Kingdom, the hit single has been certified at least platinum in three of the biggest music markets in the world.
