BTS's 'Butter' Extends Its Record In The Top 10 Of Billboard's Hot 100 For 13th Week

BTS’s “Butter” has now ranked within the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 for 13 weeks!

On August 23 local time, Billboard released the top 10 rankings of its famous Hot 100 chart, its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.

“Butter” ranked this week at No. 8, one place below last week‘s ranking at No. 7. The song has ranked within the top 10 of the Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks, ever since its No. 1 debut on the chart in June. It peaked at No. 1 on the chart for nine non-consecutive weeks (non-consecutive as it was replaced at one point by BTS’s other release, “Permission to Dance”). “Butter” also topped the Digital Song Sales chart for the 12th week this week.

“Butter” is now tied with “Dynamite” for the song with the longest record in the top 10 of the Hot 100 by a Korean act.

This week’s Hot 100 chart is for the week dated August 28. Billboard’s full charts for this week will be released on August 24 local time.
