A remix of BTS’s “Butter” featuring American rapper Megan Thee Stallion may be coming soon!

According to Variety, a judge in Texas has ruled in favor of Megan Thee Stallion in her petition against her record label, allowing the release of the “Butter” remix featuring the rapper.

On August 24, Megan Thee Stallion filed a petition against her label 1501 Certified Entertainment for blocking her from releasing the “Butter” remix that was scheduled for release on August 27.

In her petition, Megan Thee Stallion wrote that if she is not allowed to release the song, her career will “suffer irreparable damage, including a devastating impact to her relationships with her fans and with other recording artists in the music industry.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s conflict with her label dates back to March 2020, when the label prohibited her from releasing music after she tried to renegotiate the terms of their contract. At the time, she filed a restraining order against her label that was accepted by the courts.

If everything proceeds as scheduled, BTS’s “Butter” remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion is expected to be released on August 27.
