MBC’s “On the Verge of Insanity” has ended on a high note!
On August 26, the series finale of the office comedy drama starring Lee Sang Yeob, Jung Jae Young, and Moon So Ri achieved the highest viewership ratings of the show’s entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “On the Verge of Insanity” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.3 percent, marking a new all-time high for the drama.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Hospital Playlist 2” successfully continued its streak at the top of its time slot ahead of its upcoming one-week hiatus. The latest episode of the hit medical drama earned an average nationwide rating of 12.7 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all channels (including public broadcast networks).
“Hospital Playlist 2” also remained first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 7.8 percent and a peak of 9.2 percent.
Finally, tvN’s “The Road: The Tragedy of One” saw a modest increase in viewership for its latest episode, which scored an average nationwide rating of 2.3 percent.
