Watch: Ryu Jun Yeol And Jeon Do Yeon Fatefully Cross Paths At Desperate Points In Their Lives In "Lost" Teaser
JTBC has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Lost”!
“Lost” tells the stories of average people who realize they haven’t become anything throughout their lives and try their best to see the spotlight. Jeon Do Yeon stars as Boo Jung, a ghostwriter in her 40s who feels lost and as if she hasn’t been able to amount to anything. Ryu Jun Yeol stars as Kang Jae, a man who runs a service where employees act out whatever roles clients request.
The newly released teaser shows Boo Jung experiencing emotional struggles in her life. Her mother-in-law Min Ja (Shin Shin Ae) asks her son Jung Soo (Park Byung Eun) if she has a mental illness, and Jung Soo angrily yells at her in response. Boo Jung’s father Chang Sook (Park In Hwan) says, “You can’t say that. She lost her child,” which hints that she has suffered a miscarriage.
Then one day, Boo Jung fatefully crosses paths with Kang Jae, a man in his late twenties who is also going through turmoil in his life. Kang Jae visits his mother Mi Sun (Kang Ji Eun) and stubbornly asks, “How could you not give your one and only son 300,000 won (approximately $257)?” Then he firmly states, “Money is love,” indicating what his priorities are.
Towards the end of the clip, Boo Jung and Kang Jae bump into each other when she’s having an emotional breakdown on the rooftop. He coolly tells her, “Next time we meet, let’s exchange… our chat IDs.” The way he gazes at her makes viewers excited to find out how their relationship will progress in the future.
“Lost” will premiere on September 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
