Park Jung Min And YoonA Show A Nostalgic Return To The 1980s In Teasers For Upcoming Movie
The upcoming movie “Miracle” (literal title) has released some new stills ahead of its premiere!
“Miracle” is a fictional movie based on a true story. Taking place in the late 1980s, the movie is about a math prodigy named Jun Kyung (Park Jung Min) who lives in the roadless countryside of North Gyeongsang Province. His only goal in life is to bring a train stop to his village. Girls’ Generation’s YoonA co-stars as his muse, Ra Hee, and Lee Sung Min and Lee Soo Kyung play his father and sister.
The new stills focus on the realistic props that bring back the vibe of the 1980s. This includes a cassette tape player, a thick book of maps (since there was no GPS navigation), a Polaroid camera, video tapes, and a local stationery shop. One photo even shows Park Jung Min and YoonA preparing to appear on the TV show “Janghak Quiz,” which aired in the 1970-80s.
The movie also unveiled a new poster of YoonA and Park Jung Min sitting on a bench next to the train tracks, dreaming of the day that a train station will be built there.
“Miracle” premieres on September 15.
