U-KISS's Lee Jun Young Revealed To Have Helped The Police Catch A Drunk Driver
U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young helped catch a drunk driver.
According to NH EMG, Lee Jun Young found someone who was suspected to be a drunk driver on August 25 at 9:35 p.m. and helped the police arrest them after following them for about an hour.
A source from the agency told OSEN, “On his way home from practice on Wednesday, he saw someone who was suspected to be a drunk driver and followed them. After calling the police, he continued to chase the vehicle until they arrived.”
The source added the agency had no idea about this incident because Lee Jun Young hadn’t told them anything and only found out through the reports. When they had asked him if this had really happened, he admitted it was true.
One media outlet shared a part of the dashcam footage. In the video, Lee Jun Young told the police his location and said, “The driver in front of me seems drunk. The car is moving in a zigzag manner.” He continued to communicate with the police and also agreed that they could track his phone. It is also said that he willingly handed over his dashcam footage and actively cooperated with the investigation.
U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young was recently confirmed to star in SBS’s upcoming drama “I’ll Become Your Night” (literal translation). The romance drama is about popular idol band LUNA and a fake doctor who ends up living at their dorm to treat a sleepwalking member. Lee Jun Young will be playing LUNA’s leader, vocalist, and producer Yoon Tae In.
