Watch: P Nation And JYPE Trainees Go Head-To-Head In Billboard, Concept, And Girl Group Missions for "LOUD"
On the August 28 episode of SBS’s “LOUD,” the P Nation and JYP Entertainment teams held another live competition and revealed more eliminated trainees.
“LOUD” is currently in the phase where JYP Entertainment and P Nation’s respective trainee groups battle it out in live broadcasts to determine the final teams for debut. One agency has to win two out of the three missions, and for the agency that loses, the trainee with the lowest fan votes will be eliminated. One trainee from each agency is also eliminated in each live broadcast round unless Park Jin Young and PSY save them with their “wild cards.”
The first mission of Round 7 was the “Billboard Mission,” where teams would cover songs that had risen to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The first match-up featured all the members of both teams performing. JYPE’s team chose to cover Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” while P Nation’s team covered Camila Cabello’s “Havana.”

Lee Seung Gi joked, “A lot of people might expect the P Nation trainees to do the horse dance from ‘Gangnam Style,'” and PSY replied, “‘Gangnam Style’ didn’t actually get No. 1, so that wasn’t possible.” (The song peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100.)
The second mission of Round 7 was the “Concept Mission,” which centered around the school concept, with JYPE’s team performing Stray Kids’ “School Life” and P Nation’s team performing BTS’s “No More Dream.”
The third and final mission of Round 7 was the “Girl Group Mission,” where the trainees covered songs from girl groups. JYPE’s team picked Red Velvet’s “Peek-A-Boo,” while P Nation’s team picked Girls’ Generation’s “Run Devil Run.”
Just like last week, all three missions were won by the P Nation trainees, meaning that JYPE’s Lee Dong Hyeon, as the contestant with the lowest fan votes, was nominated for elimination. However, Park Jin Young used his wild card to save him. The other eliminated contestants were Youn Dong Yeon from JYPE and Lee Ye Dam from P Nation.
