Shin Min Ah Clashes With Kim Seon Ho In "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha"
tvN’s “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has released more stills of Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho ahead of the upcoming episode!
A remake of the film “Mr. Hong,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a romance drama starring Shin Min Ah as Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist who moves from Seoul to the seaside village of Gongjin, and Kim Seon Ho as Hong Doo Shik, an odd-job expert who helps everyone around town.
Spoilers
In the first episode, Yoon Hye Jin turned her back on her dental hospital in Seoul and left for the seaside village of Gongjin. After a short stay, she decided to open up her own dental office in the village. So far, the drama has given viewers a rejuvenating experience thanks to the peaceful seaside scenery and the people residing in the village, as well as creating an immersive experience with interesting developments in the storyline.
The end of the first episode saw Yoon Hye Jin meeting up with a real estate agent in order to procure a house and a place to open her dental office. The real estate agent ended up being none other than Hong Doo Shik, further proving their uncanny connection to each other. All eyes are on Yoon Hye Jin to find out how she will adjust to small village life after living in the big city.
New stills show Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik at a village-wide celebration. Yoon Hye Jin sits at a table with some of the village’s elderly women, having already met three of them due to her job removing squid intestines, a job which Hong Doo Shik had found for her. Yoon Hye Jin appears awkward as she sits surrounded by the women, but everyone’s eyes are on her as she talks, curious to hear from the girl who left Seoul for their quiet seaside village. It remains to be seen how well she will be able to blend in at the village event.
However, another set of stills reveals an air of seriousness between Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik. Yoon Hye Jin freezes as she faces him. On the other hand, Hong Doo Shik stares at her with furrowed eyebrows, leaving viewers wondering what could have led his typically relaxed features to darken.
The next episode of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” airs on August 29 at 9 p.m. KST.
