TXT Re-Enters Top 10 Of Billboard 200 With "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" + Becomes 3rd K-Pop Act To Make Top 10 Twice
TXT has re-entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 following the release of their new repackaged album “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE“!
On August 29 local time, Billboard announced that TXT’s second studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” had re-entered its famous Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 8.
Earlier this month, TXT made a comeback with a repackaged version of the album, entitled “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE,” which has been categorized by Billboard as a deluxe version of “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.” Back when it was first released this spring, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and went on to spend nine consecutive weeks on the chart, making it the longest-charting K-pop album of the year.
With the release of “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE,” the album’s U.S. sales shot up by 667 percent, earning a total of 47,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on August 26 (according to MRC Data).
With this latest achievement, TXT has now become only the third K-pop artist in history to spend more than one week in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, following BTS and BLACKPINK.
Congratulations to TXT on their impressive feat!
