BTS's "Butter" Surpasses "Dynamite" As Longest-Running Top 10 Hit On Billboard's Hot 100 By A Korean Act
BTS’s “Butter” has set a new record 14 weeks after its initial release!
On August 30 local time, Billboard released the top 10 rankings of the Hot 100, its famous weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.
“Butter” rose one place higher than last week to take the No. 7 spot on this week’s Hot 100. The song has now ranked within the top 10 of the Hot 100 for 14 consecutive weeks, breaking the record previously set by BTS’s “Dynamite” for the longest-running top 10 hit on the Hot 100 by a Korean act.

“Butter” also topped the Digital Song Sales chart for the 13th week, with BTS’s other new release, “Permission to Dance,” coming in at No. 5 on the same chart.
