"Police University" And "Lovers Of The Red Sky" Begin Tight Race For Viewership Ratings
KBS 2TV’s “Police University” and SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky” are neck and neck in viewership ratings!
According to Nielsen Korea, the August 30 premiere of SBS’s newest Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovers of the Red Sky” recorded average nationwide viewership ratings of 6.6 percent.
Airing at a similar but slightly earlier time slot, “Police University” garnered average nationwide viewership ratings of 6.7 percent. This is a drop in ratings compared to last week‘s score of 8.3 percent.
“Lovers of the Red Sky” is a historical fantasy romance drama set in the Joseon era. Kim Yoo Jung stars as Hong Chun Gi, a female painter of the Joseon Dynasty, who was born blind but miraculously regains her sight. Ahn Hyo Seop stars as blind astrologer Ha Ram, who is able to read the stars despite losing his sight.
