OMEGA X Talks About Making A Speedy Comeback After Their Debut, Goals, And More

On September 6, OMEGA X held a showcase for their comeback with “What’s Goin’ On.”

This is OMEGA X’s first comeback since their debut with “VAMOS.” They released “VAMOS” at the end of June, meaning that they made their comeback a little more than two months after their debut.

Hangyeom said, “It’s something we were able to do because the agency was firmly prepared. The members and I were grateful and happy. We want to meet our fans as soon as possible.” Kevin added, “It’s a very fast comeback, so we didn’t have a lot of time to relax, but since we had grown from what we had already done, we were able to adjust quickly. We prepared so that we could look cooler. Since there was no time, I remember that I went on a really fast diet.”

Hwichan said, “‘VAMOS’ had a powerful concept, but this album is even more strong and powerful. The performance with all 11 members is very charismatic and powerful. I would like it if a lot of people gained energy through us. I want to show how much of an impact we can make.”

Xen said, “All the members have gotten faster at absorbing choreography and songs. We talked a lot about how the 11 of us could create better chemistry together and I think that we’re in the process of learning that.”

Junghoon shared, “For our next albums, we’ll focus on the hip hop genre as a base and try more comprehensive and diverse concepts.”

Jehyun said, “Like our song’s lyrics, we want more people to get to know us. We put our aspirations into this, so we want to work hard in order to rise high.” The members shared that getting to No. 1 is their goal and Yechan said, “If we win, we’ll film a choreography video with whatever concept the fans want for a b-side track.”
