"Infinite Challenge" And "How Do You Play?" PD Kim Tae Ho To Leave MBC After 21 Years
Variety show PD (producing director) Kim Tae Ho will be leaving MBC after spending 21 years with the broadcasting network.
On September 7, MBC released the following statement:
Hello, this is MBC.
PD Kim Tae Ho has expressed his intention to resign from MBC.
Kim Tae Ho joined MBC in January 2001 and directed shows including “Infinite Challenge” and “How Do You Play?,” greatly contributing to the advancement of MBC’s variety programs.
MBC and MBC’s variety show department express deep gratitude to PD Kim Tae Ho for the efforts he devoted, and we are cheering on the future of PD Kim Tae Ho, who plans on taking on new challenges.
PD Kim Tae Ho expressed, “Although I am resigning from MBC, I hope to continue with MBC’s variety shows through a different cooperative relationship.” MBC’s variety show department is also gladly preparing and looking forward to collaborating with PD Kim Tae Ho, who will work to produce more diverse content.
PD Kim Tae Ho will put his full effort into program production at MBC’s variety show department until December 2021. “How Do You Play?,” which Kim Tae Ho directs, will then be led by his junior PDs who have been working together with him until now.
We will work to greet viewers with more entertaining and rich programming.

Kim Tae Ho is most known for his work on MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” until 2018 and the currently airing “How Do You Play?” since 2019, both of which are programs led by Yoo Jae Suk.
