Chemistry between members of “Police University Avengers”
In a previous episode, Yoo Dong Man and his students caught on to a suspicious figure involved with an illegal gambling crew. The group of three showed incredible teamwork in the investigation, with Yoo Dong Man jumping into the crime scene and securing crucial evidence, Kang Sun Ho using his abilities as a hacker to track the gambling crew’s location, and Oh Kang Hee gaining invaluable bits of information from her mother serving her time in jail. An array of others also played important roles, with Kwon Hyuk Pil (Lee Jong Hyuk) being a strong pillar of support and leadership and Choi Hee Soo (Hong Soo Hyun) and No Bum Tae (Lee Dal) providing endless encouragement and guidance. As a result of everyone’s hard work and teamwork, the team successfully arrested the prime suspect, Go Duk Bae (Shin Seung Hoon).
The incident highlighted how each individual plays an important role in the overall performance of the team. Yoo Dong Man, Kang Sun Ho, and Oh Kang Hee are great at keeping each other going. The first two are the ones you can depend on, while Oh Kang Hee looks after the others despite seeming cold on the outside. Choi Hee Soo is similar to Oh Kang Hee in this sense and they play a part in warming the hearts of viewers. Kwon Hyuk Pil, No Bum Tae, and Jo Joon Wook are an interesting bunch as well, since Kwon Hyuk Pil is a “stick to the status quo” type of character while No Bum Tae and Jo Joon Wook are more free-spirited. The members of the “Avengers” team at the Police University show off a great deal of synergy and it’ll be interesting to see how well it carries them through their upcoming adventures.
Unpredictable romance
Love blossoms even in the harshest conditions and this especially applies to the young Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee. From helping each other heal from past wounds to being direct with their feelings for one another, the two bring a heart-fluttering romance to the story. But one will have to keep an eye on how Park Min Kyu (Chu Young Woo) plays a part in the relationship with his constant displays of affection for Oh Kang Hee.
Best friends No Bum Tae and Jo Joon Wook are caught up in a love triangle of their own, with Lee Uhn Joo (Byun Suh Yoon) in the middle. In episode 8, Lee Uhn Joo watched the two work passionately on the case of the exposed exam answer sheet. Her facial expression was that of a person that just fell in love. Viewers will have to wait and see exactly who it was that won her heart.
Surprises at every corner – who will come out on top?
The storyline of “Police University” features one unexpected twist after another. One such incident was when the real culprit of the exposed exam answer sheet case turned out to be Park Chul Jin, (Song Jin Woo) a long-time friend of Yoo Dong Man. Viewers were pushed further to the edge of their seats when it was implied that there were even greater figures of power working behind Park Chul Jin.
In episode 10, professors and students worked together to take down an illegal gambling crew and the related Go Duk Bae. However, there was a sense that the investigation still had some loose ends. Just before Go Duk Bae was taken in, Kwon Hyuk Pil was seen reporting to Suh Sung Hak (Kang Shin Il) and Choi Hee Soo was seen making a secretive phone call. With so many unanswered questions, viewers will have to stick around to see how the “Avengers” team work through them all.
“Police University” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
