BTS's "IDOL" Becomes Their 6th MV To Hit 1 Billion Views

Just a few days after “Fake Love,” “IDOL” has joined the 1 billion views club!

On September 11 around 10:30 p.m. KST, “IDOL” surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. This is BTS’s sixth music video to achieve the milestone, after “Fake Love,” “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” and “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix).” BTS also currently holds the record for fastest Korean group music video to reach 1 billion views (“Dynamite” at seven months and 22 days).

“IDOL” was released on August 24, 2018, meaning that it took about three years and 18 days to reach 1 billion views.
