Watch: MBC's Idol Survival Show "Wild Idol" Contestants Shock The Panelists And Judges In New Teaser

MBC’s new idol survival show “Wild Idol” released a new teaser that gives a closer look into the competition!

“Wild Idol” is an upcoming audition program that will evaluate contestants based on their physical stamina, skill level, and hidden potential as they take to the outdoors and battle for the chance to debut.

Kim Jong Kook is hosting the show as the MC, while Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Sun Bin, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Brave Girls’ Yujeong, and Lee Hyun Yi will appear as panelists watching over the contestants’ journey of growth. Tiger JK, Bizzy, Lia Kim, NELL’s Kim Jong Wan, Sunggyu, SHINee’s Minho, and Minzy will appear as trainers.

In the teaser, it is revealed that the 45 contestants must compete to make it into the top 14 members. Cha Tae Hyun comments, “They have to keep on their toes. It’s extremely competitive.” Kim Jong Kook and the panelists in the studio are shocked to see something, with Lee Sun Bin even calling timeout. Outdoors, the judges evaluate the contestants’ abilities with sharp eyes and appear to be impressed by the talent they’re seeing. Some of the contestants go shirtless and show off their muscular bodies, and one of the contestants remarks, “Wow, this is a real competition. A fight.” Also revealed are clips of the contestants dancing to the show’s song “Born To Be Wild,” for which a music video teaser was released previously.
