BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" Becomes 1st Song By K-Pop Girl Group To Hit 500 Million Streams On Spotify

BLACKPINK has made Spotify history yet again!

On September 13, YG Entertainment officially announced that BLACKPINK’s smash hit “How You Like That” had surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify over the weekend, making it the first song by a K-pop girl group ever to reach the milestone.

Notably, BLACKPINK first released “How You Like That” on June 26, 2020, meaning that it took the song less than a year and a three months to achieve the feat.

YG Entertainment commented, “BLACKPINK has achieved explosive growth every time they release a new song, and Lisa‘s solo debut served as a catalyst this time as well.”

BLACKPINK also recently overtook Justin Bieber to become the artist with the most subscribers on YouTube. Meanwhile, Lisa has been breaking YouTube records left and right with her new solo debut track “Lalisa,” which she released on September 10.
