SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan Joins New Variety Show About Badminton
SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan will be part of the cast for the new variety show “Racket Boys”!
“Racket Boys” is an upcoming tvN variety show about energetic youths taking on the challenge of playing badminton. These rookies, who are serious about badminton, will be taught by various experts around the country and eventually enter a national competition.
Joining the badminton club are Oh Sang Wook, the Korean fencer who recently won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, who is known for his love of badminton, and trot star Jeong Dong Won, who will be the youngest member and “mascot” of the club.
Members of the celebrity badminton club also include coach Lee Yong Dae, a professional badminton player, Jang Soo Young, another professional badminton player, and broadcasters Jang Sung Kyu and Yang Se Chan. More members of the lineup will be revealed at a later time.
“Racket Boys” premieres on October 11 at 8:40 p.m. KST.
Note: The Korean title of the SBS drama “Racket Boys” that aired earlier this summer is “Racket Sonyeondan” (Racket Boy Scouts). The Korean title of the new tvN variety show is literally “Racket Boys” as it is pronounced in English.)
