BTS's Jimin Makes Heartwarming Donation For Polio Patients
It was belatedly revealed that Jimin made a generous donation to Rotary District 3590.
According to the organization, Jimin donated 100 million won (approximately $84,573) this past July. The donation was made under his father’s name, and it was given to a fundraising campaign aimed at creating vaccines to eradicate polio.
The collected funds will be unveiled on October 24, which is World Polio Day. This annual observance was established by Rotary International in celebration of Jonas Salk, who developed the vaccine against polio.
Jimin has been continuously making donations to good causes. Previously, he made donations to his alma mater Busan High School of Arts, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, and the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation.
