Watch: Honey Lee Makes Her Co-Stars Burst Into Laughter With Her Comedic Acting In "One The Woman"
SBS’s “One the Woman” shared a new behind-the-scenes look!
“One the Woman” is a comedy drama about a corrupt female prosecutor named Jo Yeon Joo who gets amnesia and accidentally switches lives with a chaebol daughter-in-law named Kang Mi Na who looks exactly like her. Honey Lee stars as both Jo Yeon Joo and Kang Mi Na, and Lee Sang Yoon plays Han Seung Wook, a third-generation chaebol heir who still has feelings for his first love.
The making-of video starts with Honey Lee preparing for the scene where Han Seung Wook attempts to stop Jo Yeon Joo from eating peanuts. Honey Lee completely turns into her character as she casually chomps on the peanuts during breaktime. Once filming starts, Lee Sang Yoon storms into view and snatches the bag of nuts away from her. The director stops them to give them clear directions, and they professionally shoot the scene one more time.
Once the “cut” sign is given, Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon burst into laughter. He remarks that one of the peanuts rolled away, and they share the bag of nuts as they wait to redo the scene. The two actors are professional on screen, but once the camera stops filming, they can’t help but laugh at their comedic scene.
Honey Lee also works with Jin Seo Yeon, Song Seung Ha, and Na Young Hee for the scene where Jo Yeon Joo goes on a rant during a funeral service. Honey Lee fully immerses into her character during rehearsal, and the cast and crew laugh her comedic acting. Song Seung Ha and Jin Seo Yeon, who plays Jo Yeon Joo’s in-laws, smile brightly when they spot the making-of camera.
Honey Lee also joins hands with child actor Shin Seo Woo for the scene where his character keeps throwing things at Jo Yeon Joo, which causes her to explode. Although she angrily yells at him during filming, she’s nothing but warm and sweet to him during break.
