"Yumi's Cells" Hits New Ratings High As "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" Rises + "One The Woman" Remains No. 1
The competition for Saturday night ratings is getting fierce!
On September 25, tvN’s new drama “Yumi’s Cells” achieved its highest viewership ratings yet for its fourth episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the romantic comedy starring Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun scored an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama. “Yumi’s Cells” also hit its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned a nationwide average of 2.4 percent.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” enjoyed a significant increase in viewership for its latest episode, which took first place in its time slot with an average nationwide rating of 9.1 percent. The hit romantic comedy starring Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah also reached a new all-time ratings high among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 5.3 percent.
SBS’s new drama “One the Woman,” which held steady with an average nationwide rating of 12.6 percent, not only took first place in its time slot but also defended its position as the most-watched miniseries of the entire week.
The new comedy starring Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon also reached its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned a nationwide average of 5.6 percent and remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on any channel this week.
After hitting a new all-time high the night before, MBC’s new spy drama “The Veil”—which airs in the same time slot as “One the Woman”—dipped to an average nationwide rating of 8.3 percent for its own fourth episode.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama “Young Lady and Gentleman” got off to a promising start as the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday, premiering to a strong nationwide average of 22.7 percent.
Finally, JTBC’s “Lost” dropped to a new all-time low of 1.4 percent for its latest episode.
