Mnet Announces Plans For 'Street Woman Fighter' Finale

Mnet’s hit show “Street Woman Fighter” will be coming to an end next month.

On September 28, Mnet officially announced that the popular dance survival show would be wrapping up in October after a nine-episode run.

“[‘Street Woman Fighter’] will end on October 26, with its ninth episode as its series finale,” stated the producers of the show.

However, due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea, they added that they will monitor the situation and come to a final decision about the format of the series finale after taking any changes into consideration.

“Street Woman Fighter” is an all-female dance survival program in which eight female dance crews compete to be the No. 1 team. Kang Daniel serves as the show’s MC, while the judges include BoA and NCT‘s Taeyong. After kicking off with an average nationwide rating of 0.8 percent for its premiere, the show has since become a viral phenomenon in Korea, with many of its dancers skyrocketing to stardom. The latest episode (Episode 4) scored an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent.

“Street Woman Fighter” airs on Tuesdays at 10:20 p.m. KST.
