NCT 127, BTS, TXT, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, And SEVENTEEN Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart & More
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 2!
NCT 127’s new studio album “Sticker” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s chart—but that wasn’t the only chart the album topped this week.
Not only did NCT 127 claim No. 1 on the World Albums chart, but “Sticker” also swept the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, Top Current Album Sales chart, and Independent Albums chart as well.
Additionally, “Sticker” entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3 this week, marking NCT 127’s highest ranking on the chart to date.
NCT 127 also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 3—and over on the World Digital Song Sales chart, NCT 127’s new title track “Sticker” debuted at No. 5, while their B-side “Lemonade” entered the chart at No. 8.
Meanwhile, BTS landed a total of six albums on this week’s World Albums chart: “Map of the Soul: 7” rose to No. 3, followed by “BE” at No. 5, “BTS, The Best” at No. 9, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 10, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 13, and “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 14.
TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” stayed strong at No. 6 in its 17th week on the chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021.
Finally, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” came in at No. 8 this week, with Stray Kids’ “NOEASY” at No. 11 and SEVENTEEN’s “Your Choice” rounding out the top 15.
