From their outrageous first meeting to their not-so-ideal first reunion, Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li gave viewers a feeling of excitement with their adorable chemistry despite the hilarious circumstances surrounding their meetings. Below are three reasons why viewers should keep an eye on the drama!

Beautiful people and equally beautiful artwork

Due to a mix-up at the airport, Jin Mu Hak ended up attending a party hosted by a VVIP member of an art museum. With their vintage style attire, the two already appeared well-matched from the first episode. Jin Mu Hak’s and Kim Dal Li’s stunning appearances shined even more at the extravagant party, which was also filled with stellar artworks. As a drama that mainly takes place in an art museum, “Dali and Cocky Prince” captivated viewers from the get-go with its many visual elements.

Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li being extreme opposites

As the director of the gamja-tang (spicy pork backbone stew) global food corporation DonDon F&B, Jin Mu Hak only knows about money and pigs, while Kim Dal Li is obsessed with fine arts as the only daughter to the renowned Cheongsong family. In the first episode, Kim Dal Li asked Jin Mu Hak, “How could you calculate the value of art with bowls of gamja-tang?” further highlighting the differences in their characters. Viewers are looking forward to finding out how the two opposite characters will gradually get closer to one another.

Kim Min Jae’s and Park Gyu Young’s acting transformations

Before the show’s premiere, the two actors shared their excitement for playing types of characters they had yet to portray. Exactly as he had previewed, Kim Min Jae skillfully transformed into an ignorant character different from the usual sincere and serious type of characters he portrayed in the past. Although he makes viewers laugh with his crass and aggressive words, Jin Mu Hak is nothing but sweet and thoughtful in front of Kim Dal Li. Viewers couldn’t help but be drawn to Kim Min Jae’s charming portrayal of the simple Jin Mu Hak.

Park Gyu Young is also flawlessly in sync with the innocent and pure Kim Dal Li, who is fluent in seven different languages and well-educated in numerous different fields in addition to art. Already, Park Gyu Young has captivated viewers with her character’s lovable nature.

The production team commented, “From the first week of broadcast, viewers have shown enthusiastic responses to the Jin-Li couple,” asking viewers to continue to tune in to watch Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li’s chemistry.

The next episode of “Dali and Cocky Prince” airs on September 29 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
