October Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from September 3 to October 3.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” held onto its spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 5,155,892. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yoo Jae Suk,” “Squid Game,” and “Kim Tae Ho,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “compete,” “challenge,” and “leave.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 70.59 percent positive reactions.
SBS “Running Man” rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,013,970, marking a 5.27 percent increase in its score since September.
Finally, TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” took third place for October with a brand reputation index of 4,991,058.
