ITZY, NCT 127, BTS, TXT, BLACKPINK, & Stray Kids Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 9!
ITZY’s first studio album “CRAZY IN LOVE” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s chart—and it swept the No. 1 spot on four other Billboard charts as well.
In addition to the World Albums chart, “CRAZY IN LOVE” claimed No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, Top Current Album Sales chart, Tastemaker Albums chart, and Independent Albums chart in an impressive first week.
ITZY’s new title track “LOCO” entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 4, while their B-side “SWIPE” debuted at No. 23. ITZY also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 12 this week, while “CRAZY IN LOVE” earned the group their highest ranking yet on the Billboard 200 at No. 11.
NCT 127’s new studio album “Sticker,” which debuted at No. 1 last week, ranked No. 2 in its second week on the World Albums chart. The album also stayed strong on the Billboard 200 and multiple other charts this week.
Meanwhile, BTS landed a total of six albums on this week’s World Albums chart: “Map of the Soul: 7” came in at No. 5, followed by “BE” at No. 7, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 10, “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 11, “BTS, The Best” at No. 13, and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 15.
TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” ranked No. 8 in its 18th week on the chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021.
Finally, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” came in at No. 9 in its 52nd week on the chart, and Stray Kids’ “NOEASY” followed at No. 14 in its sixth week.
